Aderemi is a consummate Media Relations/Media Planning professional with hands-on experiences in Print Media, Aviation, PR, Brand Management and Banking. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language from the University of Uyo, Masters in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and a Certificate in Media Enterprises from School of Media & Communications, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. His Media career started at The Guardian Newspapers as a Staff Reporter and later Comet Newspaper where he heft as a Deputy News Editor and thereafter joined Bellview Airlines as a Cargo Manager.

He was in Bellview Airlines for about nine months and later crossed over to Corporate & Financial, a Lagos-based PR firm as the Group Head, Media Relations. While in Corporate & Financial, Aderemi led the team that managed the media relations accounts of telecom giant, MTN, Stanbic IBCT, among others. In 2003, he left Corporate & Financial to join FirstBank as a Media Relations Manager. Before he left FirstBank in February 2019, he was the Media Planning & Buying Manager for the entire FBN Holdings Group.

He is married with children.

Aderemi has attended several professional courses home and abroad. Amongst them are Media Relations Workshop (Marion Communications in 2003); Managing PR in a Competitive Environment (Nigeria Institute of Public Relations in 2003); Corporate Communication and Identity course (SilverFox Training, London in 2005); Advanced Financial Journalism Certificate Programme (Press Association, London, in UK 2013). He is an Associate Member, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON); Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB).
