Rotimi holds a Second Upper Division in Agric. Science from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and MBA Finance from University of Lagos. He has more that 20 years experience in auditing, Financial Planning and Procurement. His professional career spans logistics, banking, manufacturing. He was, at a time an Internal Auditor in First Bank of Nigeria Plc; Treasurer, Lagos Plant of Coca-Cola; Head of Procurement, The La Casera Company Plc and Financial Controller, Golden Sugar Estate Limited, a subsidiary of Nigeria Flour Mills Plc.

He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accounts (ICAN) and Associate, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

He is married with children.
